It has been a while since I have been here. The toll upon my soul is great, I return with a new vigor in hopes to renew my spirit and find my voice that has been long lost to the world. I just ask to wait with me patiently as I waken that which has fallen asleep.

Tomorrow is KC’s birthday. 8 years old already. This 4’7″ boy is amazing. He is very funny and smart. He has a quick wit and a very compassionate personality. Happy Birthday KC!! We are going to have a great day!

The summer winds down

The summer is winding down to it’s end and we prepare for Fall. Fast approaching is school, what a joy. KC is very excited to be starting 2nd grade. We have had a great summer with a few trips to the coast and stay up in Washington. Rode up Mount St Helen and was awed with her awesome magnitude. Some picturesque trips to the gorge and through Hood river up Mount Hood. I love this place. Where else can you find such beauty all within a moments glance or drive. The ocean gives you perspective on how you are just a small speck here. The mountains remind us that there is no limit you can not reach. Portland’s diversity offers everyone their own special moment. I think my state of birth has many things to offer but I will never regret coming West to see what more there was to see. We are well and happy!! KC loves his new home. TJ loves the musical possibilities. I love the acceptance and artistic quality that we have discovered.

It has been a long haul but the work is paying off. I am talking about my job. We have completed our final survey to accredit us as an hospital. We have passed with minor sanctions, correctable but not going to keep us from being a hospital. Census goes up and I move up. I am so ready to take on the responsibilities. I am relief supervisor now 4/7 days most weeks. I am looking for permanent. I am so stoked about how lucky I am to be in on the bottom floor to grow with the company.

I can not believe it has been over two months since I have been on here, Good thing though, I have been very busy with new job, new house with a yard to play in and school (only 11 classes to go and I have my degree, Yeah!!) KC is growing like a weed and will be in second grade in September. He loves running around in the yard and it is so big you are not on top of each other at all. Matter of fact I just got done mowing the backyard and loved it. The roses are in bloom and it is like having little rainbows all over the yard.

The class I am taking right now will get me more into my pictures for a while so I should be able to post some soon. Hope everyone is having a grand summer!! Til later.

Well there was no patients Monday it was another full week and some. April 29th we got our first patient. I have not had the pleasure to experience this yet since I was off that day and my boss needed me more Saturday than today so tommorrow will be my first day with a patient. I am excited.

Well three weeks of preperation, two days of surveyors and we have finally reached the go point. Monday morning patients will begin to come. This is so crazy I may have to use one of the beds for myself. Oh well I am just so thankful to be working.

What an eye opening but rewarding job that has chosen me to be a part of. Being apart of the communities well being gives me a feeling of worth and a sense of importance. I am looking forward to learning more about the inner workings of the human condition.

At the expense of sounding crazy, suicidal (which I am not) and outright mad. I must take this moment to express my inner thoughts. I have come to a point in my life whether my making or not, it does not matter no more, I am ready to throw up my hands and be done. Yep, done. Not necessarily dead but surely gone. I have reached a point that I really don’t think it would matter and no one would be the wiser. No I am not going to take my life or anyone else for that matter. I mean, I am over saturated with the pain of giving a shit about anyone or anything and it is time to check out, but damn it is just not that easy is it. No, I am not copping out, I CAN NOT TAKE THE CHAOS any more. Why, for god sakes can I not just not give a damn. I am over caring what people think of me because I am me and that is not really going to change much, I just can not move pass thinking about them and how they are. I am intelligent, I have paid my dues, I have accepted that I have made some of my own pain but trust me in saying I have run far away from any attempts to continue the sabotaging behavior. I have removed from my life those things that put me there in the first place. The crazy thing it is not just one thing that I can say that has gotten under my skin but an accumulation of many things. Some days more lately then ever I just have lived with the fantasy of just walking away and maybe everyone (mine included) lives would be better but that is crazy talk I am sure. This is so complicated and I sure feel trapped. UGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
